The Charlotte H2Os provide a recreational and social outlet for gay and gay-friendly Charlotteans. We are a co-ed group who swim for fitness, and if interested, train for competition. We are an International Gay and Lesbian (IGLA) affiliated group.

All swimmers are welcome, regardless of sexual orientation. However, we are not a "learn to swim" group. All swimmers should be able to swim on their own and be comfortable in a deep pool. Practice lasts approximately an hour and a half. Afterwards, we usually head off to lunch together and bitch about how hard we worked.
